Initially created the concept of site sketched on paper. Determined where layout elements will exist, fonts, color schemes, and dynamically delivered data.
Create the wireframes in Photoshop to show where layout elements will exist. Each area is controlled either via a customized Content Management System, RSS feeds, or other dynamically controlled data interface.
Created the layout/design elements in Photoshop using layers/groups, then 'sliced' each layout element into grids. Each extracted element was converted in html tags/css.
Wrote/writing the back-end code (PHP, MySQL) and front-end code (XHTML, CSS, HTML, Javascript, XML, and Ajax) to interact/interface seamlessly. Write/written effective PHP/MySQL applications to handle various processes. (Note: sites are still under development)
Create and analyze heatmaps to determine usability issues and make necessary changes (example at left is for a 3 hour window). Analyze and interpret analytic metric data/results and adjust site as necessary.
